Background
Teaching is all I have ever wanted to do. I grew up in a family of teachers and loved attending school. Athletics are my skill set. I pursued becoming a Physical Education teacher, received a masters degree in Kinesiology from UIC and have been teaching for over 20 years in Downers Grove School district 58. When I am not teaching and coaching at school, you can find me teaching Spin classes at the local health club in an adult group fitness class. I enjoy a peaceful pace of life, learning as I go and passing that on to others.

Purpose
Education is fluid. Students and student learning changes over time. In an effort to stay current, I would like to use this blog to document my own personal learning in order to become a better teacher. My first endeavor is to more fully document my current assessment tools, and add on to those tools and enhance student learning through the use of added classroom assessment technologies.

Reflection
Reflection is crucial to achieve positive productive change in relationships with students, parents, coworkers and administrators resulting from implementing new technological assessment tools in the classroom.
